Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 12c (OBIEE 12.2.1.0.0) Installation step by step

OBIEE12C Installation:

Much awaited Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 12c came out.

Install fusion middleware infra:

Run->cmd->cd program files\java\jdk1.8.0.65\bin

>java.exe –jar path location of jar file where you unzipped it.

Give the path location where install it.

Select Fusion Middleware Infrastructure->Next

Uncheck the check box-> Next

Install

Finish

Install Obiee:

Right click ->run as administrator->setup_bi_platform-12.2.1.0.0_win64

Next

Select Skip Auto Updates->Next

Select the path where you install it->Next

Select BI Platform Distribution with Samples -> Next

Select Repair Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Redistribution to its original state -> Next

Configuring RCU:

Go to path where you installed obiee in that

Open-oracle/Middleware/Oracle_Home/Oracle_Common/bin in that

Select rcu -> right click ->run as administrator

Next

Select create Repository -> System Load and Product Load -> Next

Select -> Database type ->

Write Host Name -> port ->Service Name -> username -> Password -> Role -> Next

Click Ok

Select -> check box -> Oracle Business Intelligence -> Next

Click Ok

Select Use same password for all schemas -> password -> conform password -> Next

Click Ok

Click Ok

Select Create

Close

Config Obiee:

Go to path where you installed obiee in that

Open-oracle/Middleware/Oracle_Home/bi/bin in that

Select Config -> right click ->run as administrator

Select Next

Next

Go to Credentials for New domain

Username -> Password -> conform Password

Select Use existing schemas

Database type -> simple connect string -> prefix -> password -> Next

Default it gives the range port just you see it and click next

Select Oracle sample application (sampleAppLite) -> Next

Select Configure

Wait for few second

Next
